SUNOL A walk around what once was the bottom of a shallow tropical sea is in store for Sunol Valley Regional Park visitors Sunday afternoon, when the first of a series of free Sunday-at-Sunol family programs will begin at the park. "Ancient Seas Revisited" is the theme of the 1:30 to 4 p.m. program, which will feature a four-mile round-trip walk, starting at the Old Barn, as an introduction to the geology of the area. Sunol Valley was the bottom of an inland sea, and fossil evidences of its ancient history remain. The Sunol Valley 'Regional Park entrance is about three miles east of Highway 680 on Calaveras Road, near Su nol.
