NATIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN'S WEEK is being observed this week throughout the United States by Women in business arid professions:in various phases of industrial, scientific and vocational lines. With a membership of 100 women, the local Busin ess and Professional .Women's club will for the first time this year present a"Woman of the Year" award honoring the outstanding work of a Logansport lady. Being judged on community service, leadership ability and personal or business progress, the "Woman of the Year" will be-honored at a reception Wednesday at the" Captain Logan hotel. Officers of the local club are: president, Fern .Brown; first vice-president, Harriet Perkins; second vice-president, Arlene Little; recording secretary, Helen Soncafty; corresponding secretary, Delores Alberts; treasurer, Edith Ayers; and parliamentarian, Shirley Shoup.
