A car, the Jadson gncriaL an eiht, tiller built, will be driven by Myron Stevens, who has never driven la an Indianapolis race, though he has driven ta ether big time races. Henry, has served some time in other races on the local track. Rick Decker, a hard hick driver entered la previous races, comes back as the driver of a MiUer SpeclsL Te Make Racing Debut. P. W. Sparks, farmer mechanic, is scheduled to make his bow as a driver la a car owned by a local Italian restaurateur, named De Blase.

The ear is powered with a water cooled 6 Curtiss airplane motor. Speed Gardner has had experience locally and his car, said to be part of a former Junior Eight Special with which Dave Lewis finished second in 1825.. has not been named. Grapho Metal Packing Company, Indianapolis, has entered a Morton Brett Special, with no driver named. This is the company's first time ha the race.

The Butcher Brothers, who had a Buick engined car la the race last year, are back In the zing again with a car known as the Butcher Brothers Special. Charles Mcraa, Jr, drove the Du Pont Special last year, which went out early via the six car craclrap on the north end of the track. He has switched his affections this year to a Model A Ford SpeciaL Ernie Triplett will drive James H. Booth's Buckeye Special, a Duesen berg built car. Ernie has driven in previous races, and last year had a redhot Ouiberson Special, which went out by way of a broken piston.

If memory serves right. R. W. Painter has entered a car. bat says nothing1 about its name nor that of its driver.

Frank Fanner, world's record holder on dirt at 100 miles, win drive H. A. Tagle's entry, a former Keech driven car. now a Pedrick Piston Ring SpeciaL The car is fast and Farmer can wheel 'em. He has driven the track before.

Dirt Tracks. Eugene Hanenstlne Is new to Indianapolis, but not to the dirt speed paths. His car, a Fronty Special, is entered by the Fronty Sales Company, but that la all that la known of it. Benny Brandf on also is new to the Indianapolis His car is a Duesenberg. Two demons Specials, built by Fred demons, of Indianapolis, are straight eights, and while the entry blank does not say so, probably will be driven by Bob Wynn, well known on the dirt in the east, and Herman Schurch.

Russell Snowberger finished a stock motored Studebaker in eighth place last year, and he win have much the same car this year. Dick Woods, of Philadelphia, has entered two Duesenbergs, with the drivers not named. There are other entries to come, and of these there may be a few familiar cars and a few familiar faces. Rules of the United States Golf Association will prevaiL The committee has ruled that all entries must be in by Friday morning preceding tournament in order to obtain preferential starting times. Those women who are fortunate enough to win prizes in the touma ments will have to remain on the grounds until they receive the well gotten gain or forfeit same. The women seem to have way with them for they have obtained the use of five private courses for their 1931 tournament without the formality of greens fees. The association asks each member to pay $2 for annual dues and this amount includes all entry fees for all tournaments held under the auspices of the association. All tournaments sponsored by the association will begin at 9 a.
