OEATHS Man is slain outside home; suspect held An East Baltimore grocery chain employee was shot to death on a sidewalk in front of his home yesterday afternoon. A man who was standing with two pistols near the fatally wounded victim was arrested and charged with homicide, police said. Harry Clark, 62, of the 1800 block North Spring street, died of a gunshot wound in the chest at the Johns Hopkins Hospital shortly after the 12.15 P.M. incident. Held without bail pending a preliminary hearing on the homicide charge was John H.

Pembroke, 51, of the 1500 block North Broadway. Police said that he was standing near Mr. Clark, holding an empty revolver. A revolver with one spent cartridge was found in a holster on Mr. Pembroke, police said.

A witness told police that he heard the two arguing and that Mr. Clark told Mr. Pembroke, "I'm going to get my gun and shoot you." In another fatal shooting. Melvin Moore, 29, of the 900 block West Fayette street, was found shot in the chest at the corner of North Poppleton and Fairmount streets about 6.15 P.M. Saturday, police reported.
