Bradley, a St. John's College coed, was mysteriously hot to death on the State House grounds. Annapolis police have et to report any important developments in the case. Miss Bradley's body was found beside a park bench early on the morning of November 10, 1968. She died from a 38-caliber pullet wound of the temple.

I There were no known witnesses to the shooting and no weapon has ever been found, police said. An autoposy showed no fether marks of violence on the girl's body and gave no indication of sexual assault Maj. Bernard J. Kalnoske, ideputy city police chief, said today that lie detector tests have been given during the past year to four persons involved in the investigation of the slaying. He added that those persons were not necessarily suspects in the case but were given lie detector tests to "determine the reliability of what they knew or what they didn't know." Less than a month ago, Major jKalnoske said, detectives talked a Maryland Penitentiary inmate who claimed to have information pertinent to the case, "but only had a vivid imagination." Also during the last year, the deputy police chief said, investigators have talked with other "crank types who had 'information' that was later found to be nothing more than a figment of somebody's imagination." Although no arrest has been made in the case, Major Kalnoske said that detectives "have covered a lot of ground" since the slaying and have "eliminated a lot of question marks they had at the start." Although it was raining at the time, Miss Bradley apparently walked to the park bench and sat down to eat the pizza. Police learned from her friends that she "liked to eat in the rain." One Man Heard Shot The only person to report hearing a shot was a Secret Service agent who was on duty at the Governor's Mansion, about 200 yards away. The agent had been assigned to the mansion after Spiro T. Agnew, then governor, was elected vice president a few days earlier.

The body was discovered by a State House guard who was making a routine check of the grounds while the agent called the State House security office to report the shot.
