LOGAN were held Tuesday at the Bolton-Cranston funeral for Kenneth Duane Hatcher, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Hatcher of Logan, who died Sunday at an Omaha hospital, where he had been a patient two months. The Rev. Leo Epperson conducted rites, with burial in Logan cemetery.

Bluffs Hatchery Girl With 3 Sets Parents Given to Her Own Father DULUTH, ff --Four- Margaret Bleecker who has had three sets of "parents" in her short life rode homeward Wednesday. She was en route to Endicott, IS 1 with her father, George Bleecker, and her grandpar ents, Mr.

'and Mrs. George Bleecker, following a reunion Tuesday at Side Lake on the Minnesota Iron range. The girl, whose black curls fall to her shoulders, disappeared in March, 1947, shortly after her parents had placed her with a couple while searcK- ing for an apartment In Blng- hamton, N. Y. Everett B. Carroll, took the girl to a Side Lake cabin where a gas stove explosion two weeks ago started an investigation which ended in the reunion. Mrs. Carroll died as a result ot the blast and Carroll was seriously burned. While awaiting her father, Margaret lived with Mr.

and Mrs. Richard H. Lewis, Side Lake resort owners. Carroll has repeatedly claimed that he and his wife had written permission from the Bleerk- ers to keep their daughter. Margaret will celebrate her fifth birthday Saturday.

J. H. Grudle, star route, Council Bluffs; and Richard Larsen, 28 route 4, Council Bluffs; A total of were under treatment at Mercy hospital, 35 of them in the polio ward, the the pediatrics ward. Five In Lungs. Five were iron lung patients.

The hospital has on hand eight iron lungs, with another en route, on loan from Columbus, O. "Now we can return the two we borrowed from the Omaha fire department. They are badly needed over there," O. F. Gibbons, credit manager of the hospital, said Wednesday.

A seventh volnuteer nurse to serve at Mercy during the present crisis arrived by plane late Tuesday, Mr. Gibbons added. Volunteer Nurse. She is Miss Lois Marie Evans, on leave from a Flandreau, S. hospital.

Another nurse also furnished 1 through 1 Red Cross facilities is expected to arrive Wednesday.
