TV GARY-Is there an explanation for programs being marked for color in TV Week when they are in black and white only? For instance, the Ed Sullivan show for Nov. 14 was marked for color. It was -Mrs. E. F.

Are you sure you have a color TV set? The Sullivan program was in color Nov. 14 on channel 2 in Chicago. OAK -Is it true that Fred Allen and Ed Sullivan were H. That's just one of the many show biz myths. Allen was born Fred Sullivan relation to and changed his name to Allen because in the vaudeville days if you flopped under one name you could change it and stand a better chance of getting another job.
