The bar association had filed a suit shortly after Belli's attacks on Judge Joe B. Brown.

the jury and the city of Dallas when Ruby was convicted and sentenced to death last March for the slaying of Lee Harvey Oswald, Presidential assassin. The Supreme court left it up to individual courts to determine whether to permit Belli to handle another case in Texas. Belli "is now participating or offering to participate in the trial of a case in this state, the Supreme court said. S. Hurwitt, all of Montefiore hospital, New York City, who presented, the report, said the technique so far has been used only on experiemental animals but is being readied for human trial Doctor Yahr told reporters it is planned to use the laser beam to loin a new vein hearts that have been blocked by a deposit in a branch of their coronary artery.

The same kind of by-pass also envisioned to rerout vital blood flow around a plugged-up vessel lying deep within the brain or beyond the site of an aneurysm, a balloon-like patch which can form in the weakened wall of cerebral artery. When the laser is used to join two blood vessels they are first cemented together with a kind of plastic glue at the proposed junction area and then coated at this site with a copper sulphate solution. How Procedure Works The solution doubles the ab- sortion rate of the light beam a split fraction of second. The intense burst of energy punches a clean hole thru the walls of the vessels at their con tact locations and the union is complete. A big advantage of the new light beam procedure is that it permits blood vessel union to be achieved without interrupting circulation at the site of the juncture.

Moreover, in the case of a heart repair, the light beam will obviate use of a heart-lung machine, it was explained. A good technique for joining blood vessels to improve blood flow revascularization to vital organs has long been sought, the authors said. The technique also points to the possibility of developing selective stains which will permit the beam to strike only at can cers while sparing normal tis sue, they added. 9 OIIICAGOANS TO SEE GREECE DURING PARLEY Past, Future Culture Will Be Discussed Nine Chicago area persons are among 50 Americans from 12 states and the District of Columbia who are to depart from New York City Monday to attend a symposium in Greece.
