Miss Gloria Kelly Is Wed In Chagrin Falls Lounge Of Chagrin Falls Club House Is Setting For Saturday Ceremony; Leave For New York On Honeymoon In Chagrin Valley Country club Saturday evening Miss Gloria Kelly, daughter of Mrs. Forrest A. Kelly, of Lake Lucerne, formerly of this city, was married to Harry Wellington Stroud, jr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry'W.

Stroud, of Chagrin Falls. Ferns, palms and white gladioli banked the fireplace in the clubhouse and on either side was a tall three-branch candelabra. The bridal party stood before this setting. Escorted by her brother-in-law groom, was flower girl and wore a frock of white dotted swiss and carried a basket of rose petals. John Stroud was best man for his brother.

The couple went to New York for a honejinoon. John P. Finnigan, the bride wore a period gown of ivory satin with a hoop skiit and full length train. The fitted bodice was topped with a high round neckline trimmed with a ruffle of ecru lace. She carried a prayer book with white orchids and spray of stephanotis.

Her veil of illusion was finger tip length trimmed with a circlet of lace matching that on her gown. Mrs. Pinnegan was her sister's matron of honor. Miss Margaret Persell entertained guests at a Sunday evening party at her residence in Pine st SE. There was dancing in the recreation room and refreshments were served in the dining room from a table decorated with a large birthday cake adorned with 16 lighted candles. Hearts, red satin streamers and Valentine nut cup favors created a. charmingly appointed table. Miss Persell received a number of lovely gifts.

Club Continues Sale Of Bonds Tfle Massillon chapter of the Navy Mothers club as usual is carrying on the sale of war bonds and stamps in the lobby of the Weslin theater of which Alden Brinham is manager, and is looking forward to greater sales since the temporary discontinuance in the operation of the booth in City Hall park. The booth in the park will again be open in advance of the seventh war loan campaign. The chapter was organized in September, 1943 and took over the Weslin booth that month and members have continued to operate it since that time.

The organization received its charter in February 1944, and is open to mothers of men and women vin the navy, marine corps, coast guard, WAVES and SPARS. Mrs. Mary Weekley is commander of the club and has charge or the sales at: the booth. The booth is open for. the sale of bonds and stamps each afternoon from 1:30.

to 4 and each evening from 6:30 to 9 when the box office is open the, sale of tifckets It is serviced by a group of club members who, have volunteered their services for definite hours and of each as their share in the war effort. Members also assisted in the recently conducted March of Dimes for. the infantile paralysis fund having solicited contributions at the theater.
