The Nineteenth Century club observed iU eighth anniversary at the beautiful home of Mrs. K. 0. )lms Wednesday afternoon from three to si o'clock Th rooms were rendered doub attractive by a dne display of potted plant in full blroin. The anniversaries of the club have always witnessed a delightful re union members. On this occasiou all former membert) were invited, and a new and interesting feat ore of the meeting wan roll call of all who have been connected with the club Ai the long list of these who have removed frtm the city to make their homes elsewhere was read, brief reports were given. Nearly thirty ladies were present when Mrs. Main opened the musical prrramme with a brilliant performance ol an in stru mental "arabeMpie." It deserved and received warm applaiiHS.
