Addock. Daniel The properties of the Bamberger Delamar Gold Mines company have beenp aced in the hands of a receiver suit having been brought in the district court this week by -the. Caliente, Mercantile company. Judge Brown appointed Fred Faft-ner, former superintendent, to the position of receiver and authorized him to marshall the assets, then proceed with the sale of the properties, tj wind up Uie of the corporation as rapidly as possible. It was also ordered that the proceeds be applied toward the payment of the August par roll.

Receiver Falkner. who in th i city in the early part of the stated that the mine and mill at Delamar are being dismantled and that the property will be disposed of to the best advantage possible. The power plant will likely be purchased by the Salt Lake C-Ll'jn railroad and moved to tho. Lagoon resort near Farmington, Utah, there to be utilized in supplying power for the operation of the electric trains of the foregoing named road between Salt Lake and Ogden. Some of the supplies and possibly some of the mine equip-ment, will be brought to Pioche.

Mr. Falkner believes the company has assets sufficient to meet all of its obligations which aggregate close to $80,000. The Bamberger Delamar mine was -operated for nearly 14 years yielding thirteen millon dollars in wealth. During the past three years, however, the company has not been able to break even. The mine was the mainstay of the town of Delamar and now that it is out of commission there is little left to support the place.

Mr. Falkner savs the camp has almost depopulated and those remaining, or the most of them, expect to move out just as soon as they can arrange their affairs so that they' can do so.
