The following week the Indiana will resume Its "straight sound" New Highways in State's System Total 777 Miles Roads added to the state highway system by the state highway commission a few days ago total 777 miles, according to Ralph Simpson, assistant director ot the highway department. The announcement was made following a tabulation of the roads approved for addition by the commission. Because they owe the commission for work unpaid for In previous projects, several counties lost new state roads that had been scheduled for addition to the nvstm Rnri In those counties will not be placed under state maintenance until the counties have paid the debts they owe the state.
