Path Henry Young, the Lagro evangelist, was lined ana costed in the sum or in 'Squire Tyer's court, Satur day, for wife desertion, says the Wa bash Times Star. According to the complaint, Young abandoned his wife and four children, whose ages range from two to ten years, on Jan.

30. When arraigned, Friday morning, he entered a plea of not guilty and his trial followed. The defendant had three witnesses, while the wife and father in law appeared as witnesses for the prosecution. Young acted as his own attorney and questioned his witnesses, but declined to cross examine the witness for the state. Those who appeared in Young's behalf were parties who have been associated with him in his religious work.

was a sad story which was told by the wife, who has found it necessary to return the parental roof for food and clothing for both herself and children. She testified that he had willfully abandoned her, assert ing that he never Intended to return to her. After Young left his family, his wife and children went to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kaussmal, who live in Hunting ton, where she still remains.

After the trial had ended Young appeaed to those of his flock present to assist in paying his fine. A con ference between the three parties and Mrs. Young followed, during which the wife agreed to rfgain live with her husband. Mr. Young was then interviewed and told that if he would consent to again go back to his family, an attempt would be made to raise the money.

This did not seem to be to his liking, however, and Young was returned to the county jail to begin liis sentence. KEEP THE KIDNEYS WELL. GOOD BOOST. (Columbia City Post.) "Heinle and Uoxie" in The Hoosler Girl at Tuttle's opera house pleased a good audience and Miss Kate Watson, who plays the part ot Roxanna eabody, and claims to be' the fun niest woman on earth, certainly went a long way toward proving her right to the title. As a green gawky coun ry lass, keen and droll on one side and ridiculously stupid on the other, she kept the audience in an uproar throughout the evening. Gus Cohan as Heinle Whetzel Is no Irishman if his name does have a lebrew sound and he furnished the other end of the entertainment. The singing, dancing and joking of these two clever artists would have been sufficient to entertain the audience all evening.

The other members of the company were good, not a stick in the bunch, even to the pianist, who pounded the keys in all known styles. Heinle and Roxie are assured of a welcome any time they come back.
