INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEED WAY, May 30 The twentieth annual 500 mile auto go round broke records before it started. Never before were there so. many 'fences broken down, and the 250 guards under Major William Carpenter were busier than the ticket sellers at the main gate. The Ford family stole the show at the start. Henry, Edsel.

Henry II and Benson wore out the cameras, rnvaxe detectives hung on their coat taus. Eddie Rickenbacker. president or the speedway. Introduced the whole family to Tony Gullota, welcomed them to the speedway and invited them to come back again next year. Then the group rode around the track in a Graham, official car of the A.

A. A. Mr. Ford seemed greatly interested in the race car and talked for some time to Oullota; while Fox Movietone, Paramount. Pa the and Universal reeled away a few touchdowns full of film on tnem.

Benson ana ncnry are fat little fellows with a wholesome smile, and they were accommodating to the pack of film boya. Theodore (Pop) Myers, general manager of the speedway, was out at the front gate before 7 o'clock watching the crowds lined up for miles trying to get into the grounds.
