Francis hospital, Evanston. She lived at 927 Brummel Evans-ton. Mrs. Griffith was circulation manager of the Athletic Journal, a magazine for players and coaches founded by her husband. He died in 1944.

Doren Services for Harrison I. Doren, 81, caretaker since 1938 of the Cicero Moose lodge, 2344 S. Laramie Cicero, where he also lived, will be held tomorrow in Decatur, Macon county. Mr. Doren died in a fire Friday in the lodge.

He was a retired assistant yardmaster for the Waoash railroad in Decatur. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arline Maxwell and Mrs. Virginia Beaman; two sons, Darrell and Byron; six grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. Mrs.

Thomas Parran Pittsburgh, Dec. 2 UP) Mrs. Thomas Parran, wife of the former surgeon general of the United States, died at her home in Pittsburgh today. The Par-rans came here 13 years ago from Washington when "Dr. Parran became the first dean of the University of Pittsburgh's graduate school of public health.

He served as surgeon general for 12 years and as Pitt dean for 10 years. He now is dean-emeritus of the public health school. Edward Kracmer Rites for Edward Kracmer, 58, of 2722 22d Kenosha, a Chicago native who died Friday in Kc-nosha hospital, will be held at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow in the chapel at 3503 Roosevelt Kenosha.

Mr. Kracmer was an inspector for American Motors in Kenosha, his home since 1946. He leaves his widow, Jeanne; two step-daughters, three brothers, and two sisters. Edward W. Zacharias Services for Edward William Zacharias, 62, a native of Chicago who retired to Homosassa Springs, four years ago, will be held in Homosassa Springs at 10 a.

m. tomorrow. Mr. Zacharias died in his home Friday. He is survived by his widow, Frances; a daughter, Jean; a son, Edward his father, Joseph two brothers, and two sisters.

Mrs. Mary K. Raleigh Mass for Mrs. Mary K. Raleigh, 64, formerly of Chicago, will be said at 9:30 a.

Raleigh, who had lived several years in Florida, died Friday in the home of her sister in Chicago. She was the widow of Fire Capt. Walter J. Raleigh, who died in 1957. Surviving are a sister and a brother.

John Atkinson Mass for John Atkinson, 50, of 30 E. Elm an attorney with offices at 100 N. La Salle will be held at 9:30 a. m. tomorrow in Immaculate Conception church, 1415 North Park av.

Mr. Atkinson died Friday, apparently of a heart attack, at Washington and La Salle streets. He is survived by his widow, Juanita. Mrs. Annabelle Buchan Services for Mrs.

Annabelle Whitford Buchan, 83, of 2041 Diversey "Peerless Annabelle, the serpentine dancer," of the Columbian Exposition of 1893 and the Ziegfeld Follies, will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow in the chapel at 4717 Broadway. Mrs. Buchan died Wednesday in Augustana hospital.

She left no survivors. Elmer J. Teller Services for Elmer J. Teller, 76, of 6900 South Shore who died Friday in his home, will be held at 2:30 p. m.

tomorrow in the chapel at 2100 E. 75th st. He was the owner of the Elmer Teller Scrap company. He leaves his widow, Ruth; a son, Edward a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Fine; and a sister.

TRAFFIC MARKS UP 90TH DEATH IN LAKE COUNTY Two Persons Hurt in Accident Lake county yesterday marked its 90th traffic fatality of this year, equalling the record set in 1956, with the death of David Nelson, 22, of Almond road, near Libertyville, of injuries suffered in an accident earlier in the day in Haines-ville. Police Chief John Meroni of Hainesville said Nelson was eastbound in Belvidere road when his car crossed the center line on a curve and collided with a west bound car driven by Mrs. Anna Persson, 56, of 500 Briar Hill Round Lake. Mrs. Persson suffered minor injuries, as did one of the three passengers in Nelson's car.

Killed Near Joliet Gustav W. Bloomquist, 68, of 223 Comstock st, Joliet, was killed yesterday on U. S. Route 6 when his car collided with an auto driven by Roy W. Shreede, 49, of Minooka.

The accident occurred 3 miles south of Joliet. Police said that Bloomquist, who operates a picture framing shop in Joliet, was trying to pass a truck when Shreede's auto approached from the opposite direction. Shreede veered into a ditch, but lost control and went back on the roadway, where the collision occurred. Shreede and his wife, Hattie, 47, were injured and were taken to St. Joseph's hospital, Joliet.

Police yesterday were seeking a green and white late model Oldsmobile in the reported hit and run death of John Hoag, 54, of 819 Woodbine Oak Park, who was found lying in the street Friday at Homan avenue and Lake street. Story of Witness Police said Hoag apparently was struck as he crossed the street to board the Lake street elevated. An unidentified witness told police of the hit and run vehicle. Hoag was an employe of Sears Roebuck, 3333 Arlington st. Budimir Nikich, 46, of 2409 Crawford Evanston, was killed Friday night in a three car collision on U.

S. Route 45, a half mile south of Clifton, Iroquois county. State police said that Nikich was a passenger in a car driven by Slavko Grcic, 23, of 2021 Dayton av. The other cars were driven by Robert Cornell, 66, of 1954 Monroe and Minnie Mitchell, 52, of 7020 South Chicago av. Up to midnight Friday, 439 persons had been killed in traffic accidents in Cook county since Dec.
