Lyons is one of our best young men and justly deserves the prize he has won. They will shortly settle down on Mr. Lyons' farm east of town. Mr. Lyons and his handsome bride havt the very best wishes of the Sentinel.

Whiskey is guzzled with as much freedom in Grant county as Dodge City could boast of in her palmiest days. It is high time to cajl a halt. Ijlow, much longer must decent people be insulted with the daily sight of this curse? Must the minds and morals of future generation be polluted with thi.3 liquid poison: God forbid. Attorney-general Bradford should give our county his personal attention. In a short time we intend publishing a Boom edition of the Sentinel to advertise our town in the east.

This edition will be entirely scperate and distinct from the regular issue, made up of articles descriptive of our town in particular and county in general. One thousand copies will be issued to commence with.
