For over a month a score or more of special committees, representing the various branches of trade and industry, have been working night, and day and the prospects are that the parade of this afternoon, with its numberless floats and other of St. Paul's industrial development, will be the finest in the history of tho city. The line of march will be from he seven corners to the carnival park. They further fflnn that such a state of affairs ought not to be allowed by a Christian government, and plead that the traffic be restrained, and these poor people protected from the degradation that must ensue from the introduction of strong drink.
