The following are some of the particulars The house has been built about 7 years, is well constructed, contains 1 1 rooms besides offices, and has been much approved by persons of taste, for correctness of design and proportion.

It is situated in the midst of a very fine grove and park ground of about 50 acre, and is sheltered from the prevailing winds. The grounds command an extensive view of the neighboring country, including three villa ges, and are bounded in one direction by a distant prospect of the Allegany Mountains. The scenery of this place and the vicinity, has been much admired by travellers. From a residence of ten years, the subscriber states that this part of the country is not only healthy, but in his judgment, much more so than the country in general. The Land extends from the Gencsea Rivera bout 3 miles back, and contains upwards of 1,600 acres.

About one third of the quantity is flats or intervale land under improvement. The wood and timber is chiefly oak and kickory, with a pine grove of about 100 acres, which is there valuable, as pine is scarce about a due proportion ol the whole is now cleared and under improvement, and well fenceJ the soil is various the flats a rich black mould the upland mostly a loam inclining to marl or sand in different places. The whole is of that fertility and excellence for which the enctee county is so celebrated. There are perpetual springs of good water on almost every part, and a creek runs one or two miles through the estate. There is also a sulnhur snrinp a Iwwl of choice ochre for paint, a small bed of excellent iron ore, a gooa young orchard, a nursery of excellent fruit, hop grounds, fall crop sown, 4c The Genesee River is koatable in spring and fall, so that as soon as the canal is completed to the River, Uicre need be no land transportation to New York.
