INDICTS FORMER HEAD OF COUNTY INFIRMARY Brown County Grand Jury Roy White With Assault Battery. to The Indianapolis NASHVILLE, May The Brown county grand jury in session here today returned two indictments against Roy White, formerly superIntendent of the Brown County Infirmary, charging him with assault and on two feeble-minded persons at the Institution. White rested by Samuel Parks, sheriff, and $1.000. later was released on bond The Indictments against White resuted from an Investigation made by Clarence Lons, prosecuting attorney, on reports that feeble minded persons of the infirmary had been severely mistreated by White The specific cases on which White was Indicted by the grand jury today are those in which it is alleged John Lowe and James Sullivan were assaulted three months ago. Lowe died several reeks afterward, but the indictments do not charge that his death was due to treatment administered by White.
