69 Prefix denot ng priority British Gzt Symphony On Microfilm When London headquarters of the British Broadcasting Company heard that the Swiss composer, Arthur Honegger, had been in Paris when the Germans marched in, and had composed a symphony recording his reactions on the historic occasion, it wanted the score. The BBC didn't know how to get it out of Switzerland it being a voluminous composition of 70 pages. Finally the British Ministry of Information was called into conference. It arranged with the Swiss Government to copy the music on microfilm each page being reduced to the size cf a postage stamp. Two rolls, about the size of a fountain pen, recorded the "Symphony for Strings," and when the films reached London, prints were enlarged to normal size, and London was soon listening to the new ymphony for the first time.

Tfsr of TIME A Question The water lank in the bathroom is made of unlined porcelain. This sweats constantly, particularly in hot weather. Could some type of insulation be used to correct this condition? Answer There is no ready made type of Insulation that could be used for the tank. The best thing to do is to wrap it with a bath towel, tying it on security. Nip the upper edge of the towel under the lid, but.

out of contact with the water. This will prevent the warm, moist air of the room from condensation against the cold porcelain. Care Of Table Top Question I have a large solid mahogany drum table with a genuine leather top. What is the best way for taking care of the leather top? Shall I use furniture polish on it, or what? Answer Do not use furniture polish. If the leather needs cleaning, you can use a saddle soap, following directions on the container.

Glaze can be restored by rubbing with stiffly beaten white of egg. For black leather the white of egg can be colored with lampblack. You can get a good leather dressing or preservative at a reputable leather goods store. Marriage Licenses LA-PISK BAUFR. -i-tvn -llan 21.
