His age was about 67. Corcoran was a third baseman most of his career but later shifted to right field. He managed Quebec in 1924, before his retirement. He signed his first contract with Bradford, at the age of 20. He joined Buffalo in 1906 and was sold to Cincinnati in 1909.

Detroit bought his contract the following year. Later Corcoran subsequently played for Baltimore. Scranton, and Bridgeport, Connecticut. because of his health. He has been under a terrific nervous tension the last two years and attributed it to football.
