Peters, supposed insect bite victim who died Saturday night at the West Baltimore General Hospital, physicians yesterday could report only negative results. According to Dr. Bertram M. Bern-heim, surgeon-in-chief at the hospital, the autopsy showed that death was due to blood poisoning, but the cause of the infection remained as much a mystery as ever. Although the poisoning may have been due to an inspect bite, the doctor said, there was no way of determining this.
