A DIPT -rTatiana Nichols, an internationally TOOT r1 A native of Moscow, the former Tatiana Amazar came to the United States from England when she was 14 years old. Her mother, the late Vera Amazar had been a lyric soprano under contract to the Shubert brothers producers. Her father, the late Alexander Amazar, had been Supreme Court justice under Nicholas II, czar of Russia. Mrs.

Nichols was an accomplished pianist and musician, having studied at the Conservatoire' de Paris in France and the Royal Academy of Music in London. She was also a student of the late Alexander KelberineinNewYork. Known professionally as Tania Amazar, she performed in concert as a soloist and was beard weekly on New York radio station WNYC in duet with her partner, Myra Gillett In 1939, they appeared several times in concert with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband; two daughters, Kathleen P.

Akay of New York and Alexandra King of Atlanta, and a grandson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the oncology or surgery departments of the Johns Hopkins "vr JV known author and authority on food, as jrell as an accomplished musician, died yesterday at the Johns Hopkins Hospital alter a long Illness. Her three cookbooks were written under the name Tatiana McKenna, and were entitled: "The Look and Cook Book" (co-futhored with Lillian Langseth-Christen gen), the "Vogue Menu Book- (written with Jessica Daves, former Vogue editor in chief) and the "Horizon Cookbook," written for American Heritage. She was a member of the Three Arts Club of Homeland, the Homeland Garden flub, the Woman's Club of Roland Park and the Baltimore Country Club. She and Several friends who played bridge together also started clubs to do war work during World War II. She did needlework and sewing for her children and grandchildren, and made or collected the furnishings for a dollhouse made by ber father and now used by her grandchildren. Born in Baltimore, she was a member of a family for which the town of Hurlock in Dorchester county was named. Mrs.

Batton, 86; president of building firm Services for Frederick Batton, retired president of a homebuilding company, will be held at 9 A.M. today at the Ruck funeral establishment, 5305 Harford road. Mr. Batton, who was 86, died Tuesday at St Joseph Hospital after a long illness.

He lived in the 2800 block Fleetwood avenue. He retired in 1964 as president of F. C. Batton and Son, a company be started in 1946 as an outgrowth of a similar firm his father bad operated before World War H. During the war he worked as a project manager for a Washington construction company.

Born in Baltimore, he served in an Army air unit during World War Mr. Batton was a charter member of the Hamilton Kiwanis Club, a former president of the Fair and Warmer Club and a former vestryman of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah. He is survived by his wife, the former Marie A. Hogan; a son, Frederick C. Batton, of Towson, and four grandchildren.

He retired in 1973 as a repairman, fixing things that were not properly done on cars that had been completely assembled, at the General Motors Corporation plant where he had worked for 36 years. The Baltimore native attended City College and played halfback in the 1930's for the Curtis Bay Football Club, a sandlot team. He was also interested in crabbing and fishing. He is survived by three sisters, Hilda L. Todd, of Baltimore, Rita M.

Michael, of Linthicum, and Bernice E. Fortman, of Glen Burnie; a brother, Norbert Grube, of Baltimore, and many nieces and nephews. Loosemore, 67; retired engineer, Funeral services for Harry V. Loose-more, a retired electronics engineer for the old Glenn Martin Company, were held Wednesday, three days after he died after a long illness at the Fort Howard Veterans Administration Hospital Mr. Loosemore, who was 67 and lived la the 200 block Central avenue in Dun-dalk, retired 20 years ago from Martin, where he had worked since the end of World War EL Earlier, he had worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

During the war he was a gunner and radio operator oh bombers, and lost a leg when his plane was shot up over Italy. His decorations included the Air Medal. He Is survived by a brother, John Loosemore, of Eastpoint; three sisters, Mary Loosemore, of Dundalk, Ruth Evans, of Sharon, and Dorothy Miller, of -A mass of Christian burial for John E.

Grube, a retired auto worker, will be offered at 10 A.M. today at St Athanasius Church, Prudence street near Church street Mr. Grube, who was 64 and lived in the 4900 block Pennington avenue, died Tues- Thomas Hart, was salesman -Services for Thomas C. Hart, a retired bakery salesman, will be held at 9 A.M. tomorrow at the Mitchell-Wiedefeld funeral establishment 6500 York road.

Mr. Hart, who lived at 216 Overbrook road in Rodgers Forge, died Tuesday at South Baltimore General Hospital. He was 64 and bad long been ill with cancer. He retired three years ago from the Tasty Baking Company, for which he had worked since 1951. Earlier he bad worked for other local bakeries.

The Baltimore native had been a member of the Marine Corps Reserve. He was a member of the Mount Nebo Lodge of the Masons, the Scottish Rite and Bouml Temple and its Harem unit He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine E. Donaldson; a daughter, Pa-, tricia A. Lyner, of Fayetteville, N.C; a son, Thomas Hart of Chicago; three brothers, Edwin William H. and Maurice G.

Hart all of Baltimore; a sister, Norma Freeland, of Towson; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
