WMDT is owned by MOV Television and headed by Jean-Paul Audet, a Bethesda businessman who has participated in the creation of TV stations in Albuquerque, N.NL, and Charleston, S.C. Jim Audet, Mr Audet's son and the vice president of engineering for the new station, said yesterday that WDMT expects to be on the air by January 1. "We will have a full news operation," Mr Audet said.
