Mr. Mauro is the grandson of Mrs. Salvatore Carpentieri, of Hartford, and the late Mr. Carpentieri. A May wedding is planned.

Maryland fund for ERA begun The Howard County National Organization for Women will begin efforts to raise money for the Mary. land Fund for the Equal Rights Amendment Thursday, the birthday of Susan B. Anthony. The Maryland Fund for the ERA has been formed to financially support the ratification of ERA, and each county in Maryland will be conducting a drive to raise funds. A check will be presented to the ERA fund of National NOW at the Maryland NOW state conference June 2 in Columbia.
