Here's Why the Outboard Boating Club of America has set up standards to safeguard your boating pleasure. On an outboard boat, for example, the O.B.C. seal means that the boat has met O.B.C. standards for the maximum O.B.C. horsepower, safe load limit and many other safety standards. Then, to safeguard buyers of outboard motors, O.B.C certifies the rated horsepower of the motors. To assure safe, reliable trallering of boating equipment, O.B.C. establishes maximum load limits for boat trailers. Make sure your boat and motor are properly matched. Over-powering is unsafe. Under-powering results in poor performance. So before you buy, be sure. Use the recognized standards of O.B.C. to guide your way to better boating products. It's always wise to check for the O.B.C. standards. , OUTBOARD HO AT MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OUTBOARD MOTOR MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION BOAT TRAILER MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION 807. N.
