He asserted that several truck drivers attacked him and his friend.

Evans and Suchor will be arraigned tomorrow in State street court on charges of disorderly conduct. Evans was suspended on recommendation of Cap t. Walter made a fortune in the financial markets of this country and England. In 1932 he was kidnaped for ransom by a gang, three of whose members went to prison. The Factors are now living in Los Angeles, Cal.

The government bureau stated that methods used in its audit overstated the true net income of the Factors for the years 1923, 1924 ,1925, and 1932. At one time the government claimed $528,423 in tax deficiencies, penalties, and interest. Last fall Factor settled for $120,029. IS REAFFIRMED eaually questionable Theme and Vari Thousands of home gardeners and City apartment dwellers streamed onto Navy pier yesterday for opening of the thirteenth annual Chicago flower show. The opening jdayi attendance was 18,500. The show, prepared by women members of the Garden Club of Illinois and planned to reveal the history of gardening and home architecture in the state, will be open to the public each day from 10 a. m. to 10 p.

m. through next Sunday. Interest centered yesterday in the historical scene which shows houses end gardens of Galena about ninety years old. This display has been awarded the silver medal of the Garden Club of America as being the outstanding exhibit of the show. The Galena display was prepared by six suburban garden clubs.

Junior Gardeners Attend. Many of the visitors yesterday were school children, many of whom had helped build the exhibits of the junior garden clubs. The show management has made Bpecial provisions for the comfort of 9 visitors as they make the long trip down the pier, viewing the exhibits. Displays are arranged to give more room and easier access to points of interest than in former years. There are park benches along the way and soft music reaches all parts of the exhibiton hall over a public address system.

The large displays of cut flowers will be kept fresh throughout the show by adding new blooms. The arrangements of some of these displays will be changed daily. They have been assembled to form mass effects without making it difficult to see and study the individual bouquets. From Pot Plants to Big Gardens. Educational features show every type of planting and arrangement from pot plants and small window boxes to large formal gardens.

Special delegations from downstate garden clubs will attend the show tomorrow. Among them will be more than 300 members of the Springfield Civic Garden association. Included in tomorrow's out of town guests will be 150 delegates to a regional meting of the National Council of State Garden Clubs. They will come from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and Missouri. Mrs.
