THE POINTER Locals Misses Ruth and Janet Kehr of Hamilton, Ohio, were the guests of Miss Violet iHedtke, 11 West 138th street, the past two weeks. Mrs. Charles Rowe of arrived Sunday morning for a visit with relatives in Dolton for a few days. 'She is staying at the home of her sister, Mrs. Landon R.

Gardiner, 13S23 Kanawha avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Adam Rosenberger of Dolton announce the arrival of their firstborn, a son, on Tuesday, August 3'0, in St. Francis hospital, Blue Island.

He has been named Fred Martin. Mother and baby will arrive home today. After September 1 the family will reside at 14'50'3 MeArthur Mr. and Mrs. Martin Rosen- berger, 447 East 144th street, are the baby's grandparents.

Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Hinkle, 14273 Lincoln avenue, 'Dolton, and son, Omar, entertained a large group of relatives evening at a family reunion, and in honor of their nephew and wife, Mr.

and Mrs. G. M. Deam of Glendale, who are visiting here. The other guests were Mr.

and Mrs. Bernard Sheahan and daughter of Ivarihpe. The occasion was also a surprise I birthday party in honor of Mr. Deam. He and" his wife, who have been stay- ing at the Hinkle home during their two-weeks visit here, will leave Saturday to return to California.

Enyedi. She is the first child to be baptized in the new church being established in Ivanhoe. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Potrafke and family of Riverdale had as week-end guests Mr.

and Mrs. Clarence Pfotenhauer, 730 Main street, Dolton, injured his hand in a fall last week, the injury necessitating hospitalization for a few days.
