You will see these players on the University of Iowa's loot- ball team, this fall. If they could play 60 minutes of each of the eight major games, not even Line Coach Pat Boland could muster a worry about those sections of th'e line. Dairy Nips Latimer by Single Run With Last-Inning Punch LATIMER--A big seventh inning saw Latimer's Tigers fall one run short Wednesday night as Schermerhorn Dairy of Mason City won a local Softball 5 to 4. The Dairymen scored three runs on three nits and a walk in the first of the seventh, while Latimer bunched a pair in its half to count two runs. The teams had gone into the final frame tied at 2-2. The bouts will be between fighters from Emmetsburg and Estherville, arranged through a challenge of the Estherville group. The fights will start at 8:30. Headlining the card will be a five round go between Doc Ziemer of Estherville, 150 pounds, and John Parish of Emmetsburg, 150 pounds.

Indiana Backfield Plans Upset After Big Ten Grid Talks CHICAGO, W)--Bo McMillin's "five man backfield" which had Indiana's football opponents guessing last season has been thrown for a loss by the western conference rulers. The unusual secondary fashioned by Coach McMillin employed four backs and a lineman.
