He was the owner of the Borden Oil 1161 Albany Ave. He had been in the gasoline-station business for more than 30 years. Mr. Borden was a charter member of the Emanuel Synagogue. He leaves his wife, Mrs.

New Haven Man, 24, Dies of Fire Injuries NEW HAVEN, June 20 (P)- Zane Sohmer, 24, of New Haven. a student at Yale's School of Design, died today at Grace-New Haven Community Hospital from burns he received last May 13 in a fire at a New Haven restaurant. Sohmer was found unconscious in the restaurant by members of the New Haven Fire, Department. Police theorized Sohmer dashed into the burning building in the belief someone was trapped inside. The fire broke out after the restaurant had been locked for the night.

1Mrs. Lucius Robinson Dies Here at Age 87 Mrs. Elinor Cooke Robinson, widow of Lucius F. Robinson St. of 45 Forest died Wednesday at her home.

She in Patterson. N. March 1869, daughter born, of the late James and Jemina Cooke. She had been a member of the South Congregational Church for more than 60 years. She leaves three sons.

3 Local Men Injured As Staging Collapses NEW BRITAIN. June 20 (Special) Three Hartford area workmen were injured here Wednesday when a staging collapsed, plunging them 20 feet to the ground. Injured were: Erling Anderson, 21. of 40 Church St. and Richard Norton, 20.

Drowned Man's Body Is Found in Old Lyme OLD LYME. June 20 (Special) -The body of Joseph Briasco, 52. of 485 Main St. rear. New Britain, was recovered from the Connecticut River at Lord's Cove here Wednesday night.

The body was found floating near the shore by Essex firemen who were aiding State Police 1 in the search. State Police had been dragging the river daily since Sunday when Briasco feil out of a power boat. He had been on a picnic with three companions. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Ellie C.
