Her husband, David Lloyd George, world war prime minister, and their two sons attended the ceremony. Every shop and business place in Criccieth closed for the funeral. Paul IL Appleby, undersecretary of agriculture, who has been one of the moving spirits behind the Sharon camp idea, declared he cannot see "the least basis" for complaint over education In Germany.

He came to this country in 1879 and was naturalized in 188X. The following year he began work as a draftsman In the city bureau of mnps. In 1894 he was transferred to the bridge division of the bureau of engineering, where he remained ever since. Fifty-six movable bridges, were constructed in the city under Mr. Pihl-feldt's direction.

In 1932 he was made a knight of St. Olav by King Haakon of Norway. Word of Mr. Pihlfeldt's death was withheld immediately from his wife, Inga, who is ill of influenza in their home. Also surviving are two sons, Dr.

Edward R. Pihlfeldt and Thor Johansen; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mclntyre and Mrs. Dagny Borge, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.

The elder Eisele, a farmer, Is reported near death In a hospital here, suffering from bullet wounds received in the fight. The officers, Deputy United States Marshal Eugene Ahr-ends and Chief Deputy Sheriff Robert Jones, are in the same hospital recovering from severe stab wounds.

A warrant charging Eisele with resisting and assaulting a federal officer was issued in Springfield. A state warrant charging Eisele with assaulting Deputy Sheriff Jones was issued by Livingston county authorities. Assistant United States Attorney G. R. Kennedy of Peoria said the young man's father had threatened violence if an attempt was made to force his son to register.

He termed the matter a case of wilful violation rather than that of a conscientious objector.
