W. W. Wheelock, 76 years old, a retired Chicago lawyer, died yesterday in Los Angeles, Cal. Mr. Wheelock was graduated from Northwestern university law school in 1888.

He served as assistant attorney of the Sanitary district in 1892, as a member of the state legislature, as attorney for the board of election commissioners, and engaged actively in the light over the trusteeship of bankrupt sull Utility Investments, in 1933. He leaves his widow, Louise; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Buell and Brother Joseph L. Levin, Thursday, 11 a. at cbapel.
