Election of officers for the ensuing yeai' was the principal business enacted when members of the Redwood Valley Grange held their regular meeting Friday night. Those chosen were, Lee Trowbrodge, master; Paul Ingle, overseer; Helen Schpll, lecturer; Ted atevvard; Jalnier Sahlman, assistant steward; Caroline Sahlman, lady assistant steward; Grace Post, chaplain; Hiilda Simmons, treasurer; Dorothy Reed, secretary; Myi'l Post, gate keeper; Ruth Oliver, Ceres; Viola.Elmer, Pomona; Mina Thompson, Flora; and Ethyl Hinds, musician. One new member was elected to the executive committee. Ho is Elbert Lane.

The other members of the committee are Fred Finne and Muir. The community calendar idea, whjch would prevent overlapping ot community project.s, was' pre- by Francis Ebert. The idea appears to be struggling for existence, and was not accepted whole-heartedly by the Grange desi)ite the difficulties the lack of such a calendar brought about last year. Reed stated that when a community is large enough to hold more than one project the same night, there are enough people to attend both, therefore n() calendar is heeded. Both activi- POTTER VALLEY- To Elect Officirs This Thursday evening at 7:30, the Redwood Valley Community church will begin its work as an organization, when it rneets to officially elect its church officers. With 26 persons signed up as charter rnemberiS, the Redwood Valley Community church, now launches out to perform a greater work in Redwood Valley. It has been announced that this coming Sunday evening, Dec. 2, the church begins its first Sunday evening service at 7:30. The first meeting will feature a lively slng- spiration time with a brief devotional though by the pastor.

Rev. Glenn Flory. Light refreshments will be served at the close. This service will be held in the u.sual meeting Redwood Valley Community clubhouse. All the valley intere.sted in a church "in their community are urged to attend.

Mrs. Frank Kallio has been returned to her home from Lakeside hospital, where was a patient for a month following an automobile accident in which both she and her husband sustained injuries.
