Sets 7th Attendance Mark in Row New York, Dec. 27 UN-Commissioner Bert Bell Saturday night announced that the National Football league attracted 3,006,124 paying fans for its 72 regular season games in 1958, setting an attendance record for the seventh consecutive year. Bell said this season's attendance was up 5.9 per cent over last year's his practice, schedule this week, however, which indicated Howell feared the Giants might burn themselves out emotionally.

Howell gave them Christmas day off, limited workouts to a minimum of exercise, and at all times appeared to be attempting to relax the Giants. The game, like all playoffs, will be played under the National league's sudden death rule. In the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, the teams will continue to play until one scores. No playoff, either championship or divisional, ever has ended in a tie. Brackett also is available, but degree temperature subsided.
