Carl Blood of Owasso, Mich, reports they have had ten inch es of snow on the level and schools closed for two days. Mr. and Mrs. Plummer Payne visited Mr. and Mrs. James Murphy o! Mt. Vernon Sunday after noon. Gene Sweetin entered Barnes hospital Sunday and had surgery Tuesday for a back injury. Mrs. Ethel Oark of Ewing spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank, and Mrs. Grace Blood visited Sunday. Mrs. Anna Kirk spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Tuttle and children. Mrs. Alberta Casoy was hostess to a parly Tuesday morning with several ladies in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. John Clark and children of Ewing visited Mr. a Mrs. Frank Nihells Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. David Houseworth are the parents of a son born Friday morning at Jefferson Memorial hospital. He has been named David Wayne. The maternal grand-parents are, Mr, and Mi-s. AMaurice Estes of Opdyke and the paternal grand-parents are, Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Houseworth. Mrs. Pearl Neal and Mi's. John tVillmore are on the sick list. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neal visited Mr .and Mi-s. Albert Hutchcraft of Macedonia Sunday. Joe Fowler, Ina Paynemrs. James Murphy, Dorothy Webb, Cloe Bevis, Nellie Adams, Chety- le and Gary Adams and Debbie Murphy all visited Mrf. Ella Petlypoole Friday aid celebrated her birthday with cake and ice cream.
