DESCRIPTION: Overall the dimensions are 28'x46', which provides 1,344 square feet of living space. The floor joists are Engineered Truss Joists that are 28' long. The exterior Is Masonite Color Lok siding with WENCO double glazed, clad windows. This house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen and utility room. The exterior Is sheathed with 1/2" plywood. The subfloor Is 5/8" plywood, the finish floor Is 5/8" particle board except In the bathroom and utility room and this Is a 5/8" plywood underlay. The house is fully insulated with 9 1/2" R30 fiberglass bat insulation in the attic and 6 1/2" R19 fiberglass insulation in the walls. The bathrooms and entryway have vinyl flooring and the rest of the house has carpet. The house have five ceiling fans and a whole house fan. The Interior doors are hollow core oak, the door jams and base are solid oak, the window and door casings are solid oak that was milled by the students. The beams In the living room are made of rough sawn cedar. Exterior doors are all CASTLEGATE steel, insulated doors. Tyvex house wrap was used on the exterior of the house while the interior was lined with 4 mill visqueen. The cabinets are oak with solid slab doors and were built by the students.
