21. (Associated Press.) Broadening activity and ruins prices characterised today's trading, which proved readily responsive to the ease of credit conditions and a number oC favorable reports affecting particularly the railroad Issues, The market was undisturbed by the erratic movements of stock prices, which ended the day substantially lower. From a speculative standpoint, the day's chief interest centered in the brisk rise of the St. Louis-San Francisco Issues based on indications that consolidation plans would take shape before the end of the week. Despite a reaction in the stock after its early sain, the bonds continued to attract several of them reaching new high levels.
