Water Well Road, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ruth Ann, to Kevin Zimmer, son of Eugene and Mary Zimmer of Hays. The bride-to-be graduated from Southeast of Saline High School, Gypsum, and received a bachelor's degree in English from Fort Hays State University. She teaches English at Cuba's Hillcrest. High School. The prospective groom, a graduate of Hays High School, received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Kansas State University. He works for Halliburton Energy Services in Duncan, Okla. An Aug. 2 wedding is set for 2:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hays. Dana Soash Jason Allen Soash-Allen Charles Jr. and Marilyn Soash of Assaria announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Dana Renae, to Jason Matthew Allen, son of Larry and Mary Allen of Fort Scott. The future bride graduated from Southeast of Saline High School, Gypsum, and is a junior at Pittsburg State University. Her fiance, a graduate of Fort Scott High School and Fort Scott Community College, is a conductor for the Burlington Northern- Santa Fe Railroad, Fort Scott. They have chosen the First Southern Baptist Church in Salina as the scene of their 5 p.m. wedding May 24, Brent Rogers Jodl Kennedy Kennedy-Rogers Mr. and Mrs. Max Kennedy of Hoxie announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodi Lee, to Brent Joseph Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rogers, also of Hoxie. The bride-elect, a graduate of Hoxie High School, attends Fort Hays State University, where she's majoring in accounting. The prospective bridegroom, also a graduate of Hoxie High and Colby Community College, is pursuing a degree in agribusiness at Fort Hays State. An Aug. 1 wedding is planned at the St. Frances Cabrini Church in Hoxie. Attention, brides-to-be!
