The entire Notre Dame team played great football with Schwartz, Carideov Metzger, Brill and Mullins For the Army big Price gave a great exhibition and so did the Army line and Army ends.

Army backs could never get started. They had no miracle men to find a cinder path in this morass, no Schwartz to defy gravitation and mud and dash for 54 yards as if he had been whirling his way along on dry turf.
