ISc SLICED BREAKFAST BACON , b 54c Former Nashua Woman Dies in San Francisco Nashua — Nashua friends and relatives received word of the death of Mrs. Ida Speedling, 78, on Monday at St. Francis hospital in San Francisco, Cal. A resident of Nashua for> many years, Mrs. Speedling was proprietor of a millinery and dress shop in Nashua for several years. The daughter of Carl and Matilda Hoeft, she was born in Ripon, Wis., Dec. 12, 1869. She was married to Floyd H. Speedling in 1897. She is survived by one son, Wesley, of San Francisco. The body will be brought to the Hauser mortuary at Charles City, where funeral services will be held Saturday morning. The son will arrive in Charles City Friday. 2 Hurt When Steering Wheel of Auto Fails Waucoma —Mr. and Mrs. Charles Strickland of near Fredericksburg suffered injuries and their car was damaged when the steering wheel of their car failed to function and the vehicle hit a tree and took to the ditch. The Carlson house has been rented to M. Sgt. Lawrence Seller, who is a recruiting officer in this area. He, with his wife and their small daughter, Mary Beth, come from Washington, D. C. The parental homes of both Mr. and Mrs. Seller are in Vermilion, S.
