at the Flora United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale F. Hamilton The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kenneth Dean Knapp, Flora, and the late Mr. Knapp, and the groom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Russell R. Flora, Bringhurst. Six tall three branched aisle candelabras with bows and greenery decorated the pews and twin branched candelabra and standards of apricot gladiolus and yellow majestic daisies banked the altar, John R. Payne, cousin of the bride, was accompanied by Mrs.

Jack R. Smith, Flora, organist, when he sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "When I Am With You." MRS. PETER B. DEIST, Dayton, Ohio, attended her sister as matron of honor and Peter Simpson, Chicago, was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Will Cooke, Kokomo, Peter Deist, Dayton, and Dan Lesh, city.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncles, Jack R. Payne, Flora, and John R. Payne, Indianapolis. The bride selected an ivory organza and Aiencon lace gown. Organza and pearl trimmed lace formed the embroidered bodice which featured a Sabrina neckline and Dior sleeves.

The floor-length skirt was A-line highlighted by a detachable chapel watteau train. Pearls and lace trimmed the skirt and train. HER ELBOW-LENGTH veil of English illusion was secured to an Aiencon lace floral headpiece trimmed with pearls. The bride wore a diamond pendant fashioned from a ring of her late father. The bridal bouquet was a cathedral triangular cascade of roses, yellow daisies and ivy.

The matron of honor wore a formal length gown of apricot silk shantung styled with a Victorian brocade neckline. Pearl-trimmed apricot and mint green floral sprays formed her headpiece and she carried a cascade of yellow fujgi mums, MOTHERS of the couple were gifted with yellow rose corsages. A reception was held at the church basement following the ceremony. The decor featured shades of pale yellow, lime green and apricot. Hostesses were Mrs.

Dan Lesh, city, Miss Sherry Smith, Bringhurst, Miss Kathy Butcher and Miss Diane Herndon, Flora, and Miss Nancy Myers, Cincinnati, Ohio. The couple left on a wedding trip to Lake Wawasee and after Sept. 1 will be at home at 80 Elmgrove Providence, R.I. The bride attended Butler University and Ohio State University. Both she and her husband are students at Rhode Island College, Providence.

The identical floor-length gowns of the bridal attendants' were of flowered linen in blue, yellow and green accented with Empire sashes of yellow grosgrain.
