She was a graduate of Clarksburg High School, and attended West Virginia State College. Mrs. McCoy was former organist for Simpson United Methodist Church, Char leston. She was the author of two plays, a published song and poetry. She was a social worker and teacher in Kanawha and Logan counties.

Surviving: son. Mason C. Cabell of Charleston. Service was held Saturday in Pittsburgh, Pa. Joseph Herman Milam, 54, of 304 Eh man Drive, died today in Charleston Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

He was a former employe of Hobart Sates and Service, and was a member of the Cathedral of Prayer. Mr. Milam was a World War II veteran, a member of the VFW Post No. 81 29, and a chaplain for the ninth district of the VFW. He had been a lifelong resident of the Charleston area.

Burial wilt be in Highlawn Me Solvent Explosion Burns Prove Fatal To Charleston Man A Charleston man died Sunday at 11:30, p.m. in the burn center of Pittsburgh's Mercy Hospital of burns suffered Saturday when a furniture stripping solvent apparently exploded in a basement workshop' near his house, a hospital spokeswoman said. John E. Holstein, 32, of 607 Market Drive, had been transferred from Charles 1 ton General Hospital to the bum facility at 4:35 p.m.

Ex State Man Killed In Ohio Auto Crash RICHFIELD, Ohio A 43 year old Cleveland, Ohio, man, formerly of Pine. Knob, Raleigh County, was killed Friday at 2:20 p.m. when the car in which he was a passenger struck a flatbed truck on Interstate 77. Robel L. Miller, was dead on arrival at a nearby hospital a Richfield Police Department officer said.
