The couple will reside in Boston, upon their return from the Caribbean. The bridegroom is a teaching fellow at Boston College. Shaw-Drew Miss Linda Jo Drew, daughter of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs.

Bernard T. Drew of Visgrove West Hartford, and Mr. Robert Moody Shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin K.

Shaw of York, Maine, were married Saturday. The Rev. Dale F. Griffin, assistant pastor, performed the 4 p.m. ceremony at Gross Memorial Chapel, Asylum Hill Congregational Church.

Mrs. Richard A. Drew was matron of honor. Serving as best man was Mr. Warren H.

Shaw, and ushers were Mr. Richard A. Drew and Mr. Peter Fullerton. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, after which the couple left for Canada.

Briggs of Washington, D.C., and the late Dr. Briggs. Miss Ferguson is a graduate of the Chaffee School, and Goucher College, Towson, Md. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Henry L.

Ferguson 'of Greenwich, and of Mrs. Carl C. Joys Jr. of Milwaukee, Wis. Mr.

Briggs is a graduate of St. Albans School, Washington, D.C., and Trinity College. He is employed by the Union Trust Washington, D.C. An October wedding is planned. Shoukimas-Hastings The marriage of Miss MaryElizabeth Hastings, daughter of Dr.

and Mrs. Nelson Hastings of Dartmouth, and Mr. Jonathan Jordan Shoukimas of Boston, son of Dr. and Mrs. John Shoukimas of Pheasant Hill West Hartford, were married at 3 p.m.

Saturday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, South Dartmouth, Mass. The Rev. Ronald Crocker and the Rev. Thomas Lynch performed the ceremony, which was followed by a garden reception at the home of the bride's parents.

Miss Sarah Hastings was ployed as a fire underwriter by O'Brien Russell Boston. Macchi-Shaw The wedding of Miss Deborah Salisbury Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Shaw of Walbridge West Hartford, and Mr.

Alfred Arthur Macchi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Macchi of Framingham, took place Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Universalist Church, West Hartford.

The Rev. Dr. Wallace Fiske officiated. Miss Helen Macchi was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. David Macchi, Mrs.

Jonathan L. Shaw and Mrs. Charles Goldberg. Serving as best man was Mr. David Macchi, and ushers Mr.

Jonathan Shaw, Mr. David Shaw and Mr. Robert Macchi. Following a reception at the Town and Country Club, the couple left for the Maine coast. They will reside in Brookline, Mass.

Mr. Macchi is a lawyer in Boston, and Mrs. Macchi is employed by Campbell and Hall Co. McGinley-Dowd Miss Mary Elizabeth Dowd, daughter of Dr. and Mrs.

Donald R. Dowd of North Quaker West Hartford, and East Lyme, and Mr. Morgan McGinley II of Noank, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morgan McGinley of New London, were married Saturday at St.

When the couple return from Maine and Nova Scotia, they will live in Niantic. Mr. McGinley is employed as a reporter and columnist by The Day, New London. The bride is employed as a staff writer by the University Publications at the University of Connecticut, and is a candidate for a master's degree in American Studies. Robert Holmes Bradley III were married Saturday at Christ Church, Summit, N.J., by the Rt. Rev. David K. Leighton, Bishop Coadjutor of Maryland, assisted by the Rev. Allen Tinker.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Hazen Alesbury of Summit, N.J., and Dr. Robert J. Alesbury of Manchester. Mr.

Bradley is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert H. Bradley Jr. of Chestnut Hill, Pa.

Miss Susan J. Alesbury was maid of honor, and Mrs. Peter H. Burling was matron of honor. The other attendants were Mrs.

Frederick W. Clark, Mrs. Brock V. E. Sherman, Mrs.

F. Gordon Bickel, Miss Dianna M. Venier, and Miss Anita M. Pagliaro. Mr.

Peter P. Bradley was best man. After a wedding trip to London, the couple will live in Beirut, Lebanon. Mr. Bradley is employed by the international division of the First National City Bank, New York.

and Mrs. Melvin S. Wertheim of Fairfield West Hartford, were married Saturday in St. Brigid's Church at 11:30 a.m. The Rev.

James Leroy Carpenter were married Saturday at the Church of St. Timothy, West Hartford. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Angelo and the Rev. James H.

Russ, cousin of bridegroom. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Thomas J. Morrissey Hyde West Hartford, and the late Mr. Morrissey.

Mr. Carpenter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Carpenter of Sunset Farm, West Hartford.

Presented in marriage by her brother, Mr. Thomas J. Morrissey of Denver, the bride was attended by Miss Geraldine E. Morrissey as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Ellen F.

John E. Gallivan of Wintonbury Bloomfield, were married Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield by the Rev. Michael B. Shaw.

The honor attendants were Mrs. William C. Collie and Miss Susan Gramkow. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Buck, and Miss Barbara Newton.

sity of Georgia and is employed as a director of customer service by Trans World Airlines, New York. Mr. Anderson received a bachelor of industrial design degree from Syracuse University. He is a past officer of the Bachelor's Club of Hartford and president of the Murkin Society of New York. and Mrs. Leon W. Losee of Litchfield, were married by the Rev. Wilbur J. Kingwill at the Martha-Mary Chapel, Sudbury, Saturday at 4 p.m.

George Mason Ingram IV of Washington, D.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Ingram III of Nashville, and Washington, D.C., took place Saturday. The 3 p.m.

ceremony was held at Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown, and was performed by the Rev. Raymond Kemp. The reception followed at the Officer's Club, Fort McNair, Washington, D.C. Miss Susan Testa was maid of honor. Other attendants were Mrs.
