King of Meriden became the bride of Mr. Almon Gerard Stevens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stevens of Cheshire Street, on Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock the St. Paul's Universalist Church, Meriden, where Rev.

Isaac Smith performed the ceremony. bride, who was given in marriage by her father, attended sister-in-law, Mrs. Henry T. King, as matron honor. The bridesmaids Miss Katharyn McKee of Old Lyme Miss Barbara Hellman of Hartford, college classmates of the bride.

Mr. Charles Helm of Hartford served as best man. Mr. Axel Norling and Mr. Henry T.

King, ushered. The bridal gown was fashioned of white brocade with a full skirt terminating in a cathedral train. Her illusion veil was arranged from a wreath of orange blossoms. The matron or gowned Haut" romerigne beauty carried a faille bouquet boufof mixed flowers. The bridesmaids were dressed similarly, in faille bouffant with bouquets of American beauty roses.

Mrs. Stevens was graduated in 1939 from the Howe-Marot School in Thompson and from Connecticut College in New London. Mr. Stevens is a graduate of Suffield Academy in the class of 1939 and attended Dartmouth College where he was a member of the Theta Delta Chi. Miss Vialle Is Fiancee Of Aaron Pratt Mrs.

G. Walter Vialle of Concord. announces the engagement her daughter, Miss Virginia Vialle, to Sergeant a Aaron Paul Pratt, of the Army Medical Corps. son of Dr. and Mrs.

Lieutenant Holcombe is a graduate of Loomis School and was graduated from Yale University in the class of 1943. He received his commission on May 11 at New York University, He is a grandson of the late John M. Holcombe, for many years president of the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company, and also a direct descendant of MajorGeneral Seth Pomeroy of the Army in whose memory the Sons of the Revolution have erected a monument at Peekskill N. Y.
