u»r Workshop Set tip For Repair Of Yule Tovs Women Can See Through 'Insincerity' ,-A workshop has been set up at 75 North' Centre Street by the Associated Charities and .voluri; teers are busy fixing up the toys collected for distribution at Christmas time, Miss Jeannette Bonig, executive director of the Commun- . ity Chest agency, announces. « Many of the toys need major re-i lirs, she said, adding that they will-serve two purposes, providing! toys for needy children and worki for-those who are unemployed and come to the • Red Feather agency for help.- . -Many of the toys.on hand have been provided by a Toys for Tots drive conducted by the Marine Reserve and the Boy.-Scouts. ;. Supplies of toys on hand are less than last'-'Christmas, when some io.OOO'tpys were available for distribution. . ' Many .more are expected to be fumed over, to the agency before jflie. distribution gets under way •hortly before Christmas. J The toy distribution is one of the two-'major Yuletide activities of the Associated-Charities. The second' will be the distribution -of Christmas baskets. The Associated Charities has no funds for Christmas food distribution, but serves as the distribution agent for dozens of organizations and individuals. Last Christmas, the Red Feather agency distributed 184 full-sized Christmas food baskets and < several "dozen smaller baskets, which •were delivered by city workers to needy families of the area.
