Smiling Sarah Beth models three HAUTE COIFFURE FOR YOUNG SET I managed to end the swirl with a big ringlet on top to hide the contraption beneath. A couple of bobby pins at the sides and another pair at the back held the regal coiffure in place. Tiny grip combs would have worked better and Sarah Bcth's mother plans to substitute them for the bobby pins in the future. Now, overconfident in the face of unexpected success, I decided to experiment with a fancier variation. First.

I reduce the height oE the "beehive" attachment to give a lower, wider effect. This was accomplished by removing the inside brushes and trimming the top row from the plastic cone with scissors. For an even lower look I could have snipped away the two top rows. Since each row has its corresponding brush. I discarded the smallest of the brushes.

The idea was to give Sarah Beth an elegant top of the head chignon. It didn't work.

Her shoulder length hair was too long. However, this maneuver would be a neat solution for hair too short to swirl around the "beehive." Throughout the ordeal of tugging and pulling, pinning and unpinning, winding and rewinding, Sarah Beth sat in stoic silence. Finally, as I yanked off the brush rings for a fresh start, I asked, "Does it hurt?" "Not too much," answered my small paragon of patience giving me a dimpled smile of encouragement. The next approach was to thread only the top, front strands of hair through the brush rings, pin the cone in new hairdos. Operation Baby Beehive Is A Finally!
