The theme was "Christmas Ail ground The World." The economists, who will be presenting simitar programs during the month, chose the best recipes from around the icorfrf to bring out the theme.

CHRISTMAS RECIPES Many Favorite Holiday Treats Tested, Okayed By Economists With Christmas coming, most women are interested in good recipes ones they Jtnow will work. The home economists at Appalachian Electric Power Co, have spent a lot of time testing recipes that will be good every time They have gotten their from a large collection of magazines and trade journals. As Miss Jackie Maliett ex plained, "Anyone can our recipes in they wouldn't get the large col Jection we do. And they wouldn't know if they were good." The economists have lound out that many of them airn't. So when they put toscthcr the Christmas recipes, they included only those which they tested and are sure will work every tlme.
