TWO PARADE OF YOUTH Sunday, October 8, 1939. New Uniform Yourself and Others 0. boyzngals living in capital cities, droll humor In Ozoplaning. In none of the 18 other Oz tales from her pen since 1921 has she more nearly aproached the delightful wit and fascinating style of the original Oz chronicler. Opening with a "commemorative banquet" ot the Wizard and all his friends in the Emerald Palace, action lr, this new Oz story jumps with breath-taking speed straight into the midst of King "Strut's" amazing airosphere in the upper regions of the "Strat." When it appears that King Strut's plot to overthrow Oz is sure of success, the wily Wizard arrives to save the day, and rescue Jellia Jam and the Soldier with Green Whiskers from a sorry predicament indeed.

But the rescue, and escape from "Stravania" mark only a temporary lull in matters and things, for almost immediately he Wizard's party falls into the even more sinister clutches of Bustabo, the Archer. They escape again, to be sure, and return to the comparative peace and quiet or the Emerald City as the story closes. i1 I1 ll 7i-'l vM if: I i I Hi ll I I write.
