DELAWARE COUNTY (PA.) DAILY TIMES Saturday, September 21,1974 1 Viola Kilson, of 2120 W. 9th Chester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs; Louis NeSmi'lh of Chester, became the bride of Robert J. 'Bishop of 142 Millick Sept. 15 at the bride's home, with the Rev, Ballard officiating.

She was given in marriage by her father and wore a floor-length miht green i gown and a veil of the same color. She carried a white orchid. She was attended by her sisters, Mrs. Ella Charleston and Mrs. Beatrice Mclver.

Edward Bishop was best man for his'brother. A reception was held at the bride's home. Mrs. Bishop is a graduate of Chester High School and the Philadelphia Nursing School. She is practical nurse.

ROBERT J. BISHOP McKay, Kerney marriage of Barbara Jane Kerney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Augustus Kerney of Towson, Maryland, to Edward Bowen McKay of Smyrna, son of Mr. and Mrs, James Marshall McKay of Wallingford, took place Saturday in the chapel Dame Preparatory School in Hampton, Maryland.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The maid of honor was Jacqueline E. Morris. The bridesmaids were Mrs. John M.

Kerney, sister-in-law of the bride, Helaina M. Brown, and Jean M. West. The best man was F. Wistar Kane.

The bride is a graduate of Notre Dame Preparatory School and Washington College. The bridegroom is. a graduate of Archmere Academy, Washington College and received, his' Masters of Science degree from Rensselaer polytechniclnstitute. After a trip to Virginia the couple will'live in Smyrna. Carolyn Jennings became the bride of John 14 at 2 p.m.

in the First AME Churchi Darby. The Rev. Ernest J. Brown officiated. The couple are of Mr.

Pickens Jennings, Eighth Street, Chester," and Mr. and Mrs. OceHa'Smith, Norris'Drive, Chester. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of imported Madeira lace trimmed with pearls and featuring jewel-accented neckline. The sheath style gown flowed into a cathedral train.

The floor-length veiLof Chantilly lace was attached to a picture hat of French illusion trimmed with pearls. The bridfe carried a Bible covered i glamellia, gladiola blossoms, lillie's of the valley and baby's breaths. Mrs. Marietta -Harper and Mrs. Nora Lee Parker, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor.

They wore shrimp-color A-line gowns. Mrs: Helene Watson and Sylvia Jennings, sisters of the bride, and Mrs. Alma Sims, Mrs. Barbara Thompson, Mrs. Levoliour McCarthy and Mrs.

Catherine Jacobs were bridesmaids. They wore Javender A-line Lori Ann Jennings and Ursula Watson were flower girls. David' Harper was ring bearer. Russell Davis; brother of the bridegroom was best man. A reception was held at the Colony -Hotel; Chester.

The couple left for a trip to San Juan and St. Thomas.They will reside in Chester. bride is a-graduate of Chester High School and attended Philadelphia Academy of Music: She is employed by Merck, Sharp and" Dohme, West Point. and Mrs. Egbert Ellis Evons'of Media, became the bride of Joel Keck Schantz, son Mr. and Mrs. Horace Schantz of Emmaus, on Sept. 7 at the Reformation Lutheran Church.

The Rev7 Robert E. Anderson officiated. Jana Barbor was maid of honor' and Donald Laine was best man. A reception was held at the St. David's Inn.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a three tier pale gown. Her flowers were rosebuds tied with pink ribbon. Robert George Gardner, twin brother of the best man. A reception was held in the Center. The bride, a graduate of Ridley High School and the University of Florida is a nurse.

in the Ridley Park Methodist Church. The couple are the children of Mrs. Josephine Portales, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert F.

Gardner, of 504 Bonsall Road, Ridley Park. The Rev. Merritt Gottschalk officiated. The brid was. given in marriage by her uncle, Mr.

James B. Summy. Gail E. Gardner, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor, and Kenneth James Gardner was best man for. his twin brother.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Summy in Newtown Square. The couple will 1 reside in Portales where the bride is attending Eastern New Mexico University. Mr.

Michael Ledonne of Wayne. Her husband is the-son of Mr. and Mrs. James Mac Phail of 400 Martin Folsom. The couple will reside in Wayne.

Sherree Ellen Lobb the. bride of Gregory Bruce Keech, at 5:30 Sept. 7, at the Bethany United Church. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs.

Harry-E. Lobb, 3115- Highwoods Drive, Aston, and Mr. and Mrs. William B. Keech, 306 Fairview Road, 1 Springfield.

Rev. Raymond Pinch perfor- med the ceremony. Given in marriage by her i father, the bride's gown was trimmed with chantilly lace at the neck and hem, and featured long sleeves and a full skirt. Her floor length veil was also made of lace. She carried a nosegay of carnations and daisies.

Mrs. Carolyn.Blevins, who served as honor attendant for her sister, as-well as the bridesmaids', Mrs. Claudia Hedemark, the bride's sister, and Kendall Keech; sister of the bridegroom, were all attired in blue chiffon. Christian Hedemark served as best man for his brother-in-law. After, a reception at Friendship Fire Hall, Unwood, the couple left for a trip to Disney World.

The gown was made by her mother. Her waist-length veil Was held by a tiara of mother of pearl flowers. She carried a nosegay of roses, carnations, daisies and baby's breath. Mrs. Susan Loretto, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.

She wore a rose'Empire chiffon gown. Bridesmaids were Patty and Ruth Ann Kennedy, sisters of the bridegroom, and Joan Massey. Their gowns were rainbow colored Empire chiffon. 'Flower girt was Tammy Domoyer. Terry was ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Swarthmore High School and Penn State University. She is employed by Colonial Penn Insurance Philadelphia. The groom.graduated, from St. James High School and Penn State University. He is a sales engineer with Wood Industrial Products in shohokan.

Her veil of illusion lace was held by a white floral headpiece studded with appliques.

She carried a cascade of whi.te carnations, baby carnations, 'buttons, baby's breaths, lilie of the valley, and fern. The maid of honor was Maria She wore a pink, Greek-style gown. Bridesmaids were Joanne Czukiewski, sister of the bride, Gayle Brennan and Betsy Cimino. The attendants wore Greek-style blue gowns. Benjamin Elliott was best man: reception was held at Lennox Park Fire Co.
