Justice department lawyers, it was learned, are prepared to present to a grand jury in Los Angeles evidence against some nlhjor interests in the lumber industry. They have working on the cane for months Investigating charges of production control, price fixing and improper grading. While reluctant to discuss the Inquiry until the grand jury has re- lorted, officials let It be known that he charges probably would parallel those brought in the south last February. That case was settled by a consent decree less than a week after the Indictments.
